—Missoula Symphony Orchestra Presents Tenth Annual “Symphony in the Park”—
A little bit of country, a little bit of rock and roll…if you add to that classical, Americana, and a handful of well known movie tunes, we’ve got ourselves a great concert. This year’s Symphony in the Park, now in its tenth year, features what music director Darko Butorac describes as “truly something for everyone—a show worthy of a tenth anniversary!” The free concert is one of Missoula’s most popular events and takes place on Sunday, August 10 at 7pm in Caras Park.
The concert will feature special guest and up-and-coming Country Western star Tyler Barham. Recently named one of Billboard’s “10 Country Artists to Watch in 2014,” Barham was born and raised in Montana and is returning to his old stomping grounds for Symphony in the Park. “We wanted to do something different and fabulous for this concert,” says Symphony Executive Director John Driscoll. “Bringing in Tyler certainly fits the bill—he’s a local boy done good, the audience is going to love him.” (Continue)
